Ahead of the closing ceremony to mark the end of Spurs’ stay at their famous ground, which is to be reconstructed, Wanyama got the celebrations started on six minutes, heading in Ben Davies’ centre.

No bad blood here , just bad teams at the bottom of the barrel within the Premiership .

Stink is a polite way of putting it . Look at last season and how bad the teams were then .

There’s going to be a whole lot of money spent during this off-season . It wouldn’t surprise me if more than $500 million was spent on acquiring new players by several teams within the Premiership.

I think this is an understatement of the year.

It’s unfortunate for the teams in the lower tier leagues , as they have no real chance of competing with the big boys of the Premiership . Once promoted they still remain at a great disadvantage

Yes many of them do. Leicester City was the exception. Check out the latest post.

Sound fiscal management and ultimately great coaching led to their success last year. This year , other their gallant effort in the Champions League , Leicester City was simply a dud .

They’ve had a taste of the high life, but I don’t believe the team is good enough to remain consistently competitive over the next four or five seasons. That to me is the level of consistency Leicester City will have to reach !

It will be down to the Leicester City Board of Directors to increase the club’s spending on players while also developing their youth system .

All of the big clubs in the Premiership will be spending money during the off-season . This was clear during the Summer Transfer window

Yes they all win. The EPL the past four to five seasons have bombed out of the Champions League.

Some of the best players in the world play in the Premiership , but I believe , there are too many games and domestic competitions , which has created the lethargy and lack of quality one would expect .

On average with the Premierleague and other domestic competitions , most players are likely to play in excess for 55 games and that doesn’t include the European top-tiered tournaments such as the Champions League and Europa League. With all of the money some of the top teams have invested in the players , I sometimes wonder how the players actually survive. The following link below gives you a breakdown of the payroll structure for the Premierleague teams going back to the 2013-14 season .

Thanks. Man U lost three players in a one week span. This killed their season. Increase the number of players from 16 to 20 that be on the active squad. Check out the latest on the Arsenal win
