Man U picked up a 3-0 win over Valerenga in a friendly match in Norway.

The Guardian wrote:” Romelu Lukaku scored as Manchester United beat Valerenga 3-0 in Oslo in the penultimate match of their summer tour.

Marouane Fellaini, who has been linked with a move away from Manchester, gave United a first-half lead before substitutes Lukaku and Scott McTominay netted in the second half.

alerenga are deep into their domestic campaign and sit seventh in Norway’s top division but United looked the sharper early on as Henrikh Mkhitaryan forced a blocking save and Paul Pogba saw an effort hit a post.

Marcus Rashford was next to go close but it was not until a minute before half-time that United made the breakthrough.

Nemanja Matic’s impending arrival could yet spell the end of Fellaini’s time at Old Trafford but the big Belgian served a reminder of what he is capable of by heading United in front from Mkhitaryan’s cross. José Mourinho made nine changes at the break and two of the newcomers combined after 48 minutes as Lukaku headed home a Joel Pereira cross at the far post. Valerenga had a rare opportunity just after the hour mark but it was spurned by Ghayas Zahid and, shortly afterwards, the 20-year-old McTominay scored his first senior goal for United with a confidently taken half-volley. Lukaku nearly added a fourth late on but he dragged his shot just wide. United head to Dublin next to play Sampdoria before facing Real Madrid in the European Super Cup in Skopje on 8 August.

      1. No , this all has more to do with making money through the appearances made abroad . The likes of Real Madrid , Barcelona , Man United and Chelsea can make as much as $5 million apiece if not more for merely playing two or three games abroad before the beginning of their regular season schedules

      2. I see Cristiano Ronaldo is now having a good workout within the Spanish legal system as he tries to persuade the courts he wasn’t trying to evade paying taxes . Apparently he owes the Spanish authorities as much as $25 million ? LOL,LOL,LOL !!!!!

      3. Ronaldo is suggesting he’s not guilty of tax evasion, but here’s the thing, both he and Messi have dialed in, by having their so called business managers use some dubious accounting antics to squirrel away monies actually due to the Spanish authorities. Boxer Floyd Mayweather between 2012 and 2015 earned over $450 million and he’s not paid taxes on his earnings between 2014-15 . He’s now saying he doesn’t have enough liquid assets (cash) to pay what’s owed and has asked the IRS delay the whole process until after he fights MMA fighter Conor McGregor on August 26th. Mayweather is likely to earn in excess of $250 million from that one fight alone.

Athletes such as Cristiano Ronaldo , Lionel Messi and Floyd Mayweather believe they are above the law .

      5. Wesley Snipes was made an example of because of his color and his stupidity in trusting his business manager . Perhaps , you should ask how it is , the likes of GE , Apple , Halliburton can circumvent paying federal taxes when they’re in fact US domiciled corporations ?

No one is above the law , really ?

The IRS will chase down the ordinary citizen for back taxes and many small business owners , but rarely do they go after big corporations, unless they believe there to be criminal activity under the RICO Act .
