De Futebol Arsenal blows out Huddersfield. Shitty needed a late goal from Sterling to pull out a win over the Saints. Liverpool wins! So does Chelsea!

It started quickly for my Gunners. A strike by Alexandre Lacazette in the third minute gave the guys the quick one nil lead. It was all downhill from there for Huddersfield. Arsenal hung five big ones on the Terriers a 5-0 thrashing.

This was my Gunners twelfth straight win at our house Emirates.

This marked the first time this season the guys have won three straight matches.

Alexis Sanchez hit the daily double in a four-minute span 69th and 73rd minutes.

Oliver Giroud added a marker in the 68th minute.

The guys are in fourth place with 28 points.

Chelsea hangs  on to third place with a 1-0 win over Swansea City.

The Blues have 29 points.

Liverpool blows out Stoke City 3-0.

Salah led the Reds with the daily double in the 77th and 83rd minutes.

Everton slaughters West Ham 4-0.

Burnley got by Bournemouth 2-1.

Raheem Sterling scored in the dying embers of the match 95th minute plus six to lift Man Shitty to a 2-1 win over Southampton.

Shitty keeps their lead over Man U at eight points.

Man Shitty sits in the catbird seat with 40 points.

Man U is second with 32 points.

Chelsea is third with 29.

Arsenal is fourth 28 points

Liverpool is fifth with 26 points.

EPL Match Report on my Gunners win:” Arsenal clinched a 12th consecutive Premier League home victory with a 5-0 success against Huddersfield Town.

After three minutes Alexandre Lacazette latched on to a neat flick from Aaron Ramsey to fire in his seventh goal of the season.

Petr Cech denied Collin Quaner with fine reaction save before Arsenal struck three times in four second-half minutes.

Olivier Giroud, a half-time replacement for Lacazette, connected with Mesut Ozil’s through-ball to double the lead on 68 minutes. Moments later Ozil teed up a neat Alexis Sanchez strike.

Then Ozil was picked out by Ramsey to dink the ball into the back of the net, leaving Giroud to confirm the three points with a late close-range effort.”

De Futebol Man U wins in a six goal thriller! Spurs bit the dust!

Man U beat Watford 4-2.

The Red Devils jumped out to a three-nil lead only to have the Hornets to comeback to score twice to cut the gap to 3-2.

Man U needed a late goal in the 86th minute  from Jesse Lingard to put this puppy to bed for good.

Ashley Young led the Man U attack with the daily double in the 19th and 25th minutes.

The win gives the guys 32 points.

The upset special of day Leicester City defeated Tottenham 2-1. This really puts a dent Spurs shot at a top three finish.

Newcastle and West Brom tied two all.

Brighton and Hove Albion -Crystal Palace tied nil-nil.

The EPL Match Report on the Man U win:” Ashley Young ended an 18-month goal drought with two goals against his old club as Manchester United beat Watford 4-2 at Vicarage Road.

Young scored his opener with a low shot from Jesse Lingard’s pass before curling in a superb free-kick to double the lead.

Anthony Martial struck a third and Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes made a double save to deny Romelu Lukaku and Lingard before Richarlison headed on to the bar.

Watford produced two quickfire goals by Troy Deeney, from the penalty spot, and Adboulaye Doucoure, from Andre Carillo’s pass.

But a Lingard solo effort sealed the win which puts United five points behind leaders Manchester City.”

De Futebol Schmucks Mengao lose again

The schmucks Flamengo has lost two in a row. This time a 1-0 loss to Coritiba. Boo Mengao is stuck in seventh place with 50 points.

É a chance do time rubro-negro voltar a vencer.

O árbitro assinalou gol do curitibano. Juan pediu falta no lance.

No início do segundo tempo, outro lance mostrou a insegurança, misturada à falta de confiança, do time do Fla neste momento.

Arsenal wins! Everton is Blown out!

Man Shitty struggled against Huddersfield. Shitty needed a late goal to secure a hard fought 2-1 win.

Raheem Sterling nailed the match winner in the 85th minute to keep Shitty’s eight-point lead over Man U.

Man Shitty has 37 points.

The Red Devils have 29 points.

Arsenal needed a PK from Alexis Sanchez in the 90th minute plus two to leap frog my guys over Liverpool and Tottenham into fourth place with 25 points.

Spurs are fifth 24 points.

Liverpool is sixth with 23 points.

Arsenal defeated Burnley 1-0

The Gunners are one point behind third place Chelsea 26 points.

Southampton blew the doors off Everton 4-1.

EPL Match Report on my guys win over the Clarets.” Alexis Sanchez scored a last-gasp penalty as Arsenal claimed a late 1-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor for the second season running.

The match looked to be heading for a goalless draw until James Tarkowski was adjudged to have fouled Aaron Ramsey in the second minute of stoppage time and Sanchez slotted the spot-kick into the bottom corner.

Ramsey and Nacho Monreal missed chances for the visitors in the first half while Johann Berg Gudmundsson’s powerful shot was brilliantly pushed on to the post by visiting goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The win moves Arsenal up to fourth place, a point behind Chelsea, while Burnley remain in seventh.”

De Futebol- Man U ekes out a win at Old Trafford! Spurs tie West Brom! Chelsea and Liverpool tie!

Friday Leicester City and West Ham tied one all.

The Hammers will stay parked in the voce vai zone 18th place with ten points

Man U played like crap. The Red Devils seemed to lack speed, intensity and just missed it by that much against a tough Brighton and Hove Albion squad at Old Trafford.

Ashley Young fired a wicked shot that was deflected by the Seagulls Lewis Dunk in the 66th minute into the back of the net to save Man U’s silly ass from a loss or draw.

Man U wins 1-0 to keep their hold on second place with 29 points.

Man Shitty at Huddersfield will take place later today.

Arsenal travels to Burnley and Southampton-Everton round out today’s action.

Watford took it Newcastle 3-0.

The Hornets have 21 points to stay put in eighth place.

Tottenham and West Brom tied one all.

Swansea City and Bournemouth tied nil-nil

Crystal Palace picked up their second win of the season. This was a shocker 2-1 win over Stoke City.

The Eagles are buried in the whale dung position 20th place with eight points.

EPL Match Summary of the Man U win over Brighton and Hove Albion: “Lewis Dunk’s unfortunate own goal, deflecting in an Ashley Young shot, sealed a 1-0 win for Manchester United over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Young’s drive from the edge of the area hit the Brighton defender and looped over goalkeeper Mat Ryan for the only goal.

Ryan had kept Brighton in the match right on half-time with a double save from Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba.

Brighton had threatened on numerous occasions, with dangerous crosses from Anthony Knockaert and Pascal Gross and Shane Duffy heading narrowly wide.

United go five points behind leaders Manchester City, who play Huddersfield Town on Sunday.

Brighton’s first league defeat in six matches leaves them ninth.”

Liverpool scored first in the 69th minute when Salah poke home the rock to take a 1-0 lead over hated foe Chelsea at Anfield. The Blues Willian nailed a perfect lob shot that just went over the outstretched hands Reds keeper Simon Mignolet in the 85th minute to break Liverpool’s hearts.

Liverpool and Chelsea tied one all.

The Blues stay in third place with 26 points. Spurs stay put in fourth 24 points. Liverpool is fifth with 23 points.

EPL Match Report: A late goal from Willian earned Chelsea a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

The substitute hit a cross-cum-shot that beat Simon Mignolet with five minutes remaining to cancel out Mohamed Salah’s goal against his former club.

Salah gave a much-changed Liverpool side the lead on 65 minutes, scoring a PL-high 10th goal of the season from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s assist.

Liverpool were on course for a win that would have taken them fourth, level with their opponents, until Willian struck.

Just two minutes after coming off the bench the Brazilian scored to extend Chelsea’s unbeaten run at Anfield to six matches.”

De Futebol The Schmucks Flamengo stink the joint out big time

The bums Boo-Mengao stunk the joint out in a 2-0 loss to Palmerias.

De Futebol Arsenal rests the starters and the guys lose 1-0 to Cologne in The Europa League

My guys from Arsenal used the second string in a 1-0 loss to Cologne in Group H in Europa League play.

The Guardians Amy Lawrence wrote:” There is a limit to how much genuine disappointment Arsène Wenger will carry from Cologne after a flat performance and narrow Europa League defeat for his understudies. Arsenal qualified as group winners, despite a going-through-the-motions 90 minutes with few redeeming features, and all the while his most valued personnel stayed at home with their feet up. This game was, bizarrely, more of a silver lining than a cloud.

“You feel you have done the job and finished top of the group and we play the final game against Borisov with not much at stake apart from the fact we want to win the game,” said Wenger, a summation that crystalised the relaxed nature of this situation.

Having made wholesale changes to the starting XI after that feelgood derby win against Tottenham, this was actually a pretty experienced lineup. That was no guarantee of a well-tuned performance, and Arsenal managed to dominate possession and get picked off by a rare Cologne break which led to the game’s decisive penalty.

The match provided an opportunity to give players on the fringes some competitive minutes, particularly Danny Welbeck on the road back from spells out injured. “The situation was planned before the game that Danny Welbeck plays 45 minutes,” Wenger said.

“He comes back from injury we have three more games, Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday again, and medically the risk was a bit too high to play him for longer because he has been out for a while. But he has no problem. He was ready to stay on and frustrated to come off but he’s in good shape.”

The complication when fielding the second string is a bit of rustiness, those missing fractions of instinct that come with players who are in the groove. It can inhibit the overall quality of the game. Arsenal were mostly comfortable, but not particularly enthralling.

Opponents propping up the Bundesliga were there for the taking. Cologne were high on atmosphere yet low on confidence. Arsenal were not at their most fluid, epitomised by the fact their most promising first-half chances fell to Francis Coquelin, who has never scored for the club. He thumped one from long range and another shot cracked against the near post. Ainsley Maitland-Niles played with a sense of adventure but there was not much happening.

Cologne took advantage of the torpor with a counter attack on the hour. Sehrou Guirassy cantered into the penalty area and tumbled after tangling legs with Mathieu Debuchy. It was on the soft side but the Russian referee Vladislav Bezborodov awarded a penalty, which Guirassy took with composure, beating Ospina straight down the middle. “We lost a game where Cologne had one shot on goal basically. It was a very ‘nice’ penalty we have to take on board,” Wenger said.

Jack Wilshere came close with a couple of opportunities, and Reiss Nelson danced into the box late on and forced a save from Timo Horn, a rare illuminating moment for the Arsenal attack.

No equaliser. No major problem.
