Tottenham took apart Huddersfield 2-0

Spurs have 58 points.

This was a relatively easy win for Tottenham.

EPL Match Report: Son Heung-min scored both goals as Tottenham Hotspur piled on the pressure in the race for the top four with victory over Huddersfield Town.

After Spurs had come close when Christian Eriksen’s deflected free-kick hit a post, Dele Alli played through Son to net his first on 27 minutes.

Huddersfield Town worked a chance to equalise but just a minute after Hugo Lloris saved from substitute Tom Ince, Son made it 2-0.

The South Korean headed in a sublime cross from Harry Kane, who had earlier twice been denied a 25th goal of the season by Jonas Lossl.

Spurs go up to third, a point above Liverpool who play Newcastle United this evening. The Terriers drop to 15th, three points above the relegation zone.”

Burnley fell behind one nil to Everton. The Clarets came storming back to score the next two goals to beat the Toffees 2-1.

The Clarets Chris Wood ended Burnley’s 11-match winless run in the Premier League with a late goal to send Everton crashing and burning out at Turf Moor.

Burnley will stay put in seventh place with 40 points.

Leicester City needed a dying embers goal in the 90th minute plus seven from Riyard Mahrez to earn a lone all draw against Bournemouth.

Swansea City blew out West Ham 4-1 to get the Swans out of the voce vai zone into thirteenth place with 30 points.

Watford needed a late goal from Troy Deeney in the 77th minute to escape with a 1-0 win over West Brom.

The Hornets are in ninth place with 39 points.

Southampton and Stoke City tied nil-nil.

Liverpool shut out Newcastle 2-0.

The Reds are in second place with 60 points.

Man U is third with 59. The Red Devils battle Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Spurs are fourth with 58 points.

EPL Match Report on Liverpool’s win:” Goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane lifted Liverpool to second with a 2-0 win over Newcastle United.

Salah broke the deadlock on 40 minutes, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain playing him in to score for his seventh consecutive match in all competitions.

The strike also took Salah level with Harry Kane on 24 goals in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

Loris Karius kept Liverpool’s lead intact, turning Mohamed Diame’s effort wide just before the interval.

Mane made it 2-0 on 55 minutes from Roberto Firmino’s delightful through-ball.

Liverpool move a point above Manchester United, who play Crystal Palace on Monday.

Newcastle lie 16th, two points above the relegation zone.”
