De Futebol Chelsea Sends Arsenal to Their Second Straight Defeat a 3-2 Loss!

Chelsea defeated Arsenal 3-2 in a wild and woolly match at Stamford Bridge.  The guys have dropped two straight matches to start the season.

EPL Match Summary:” Marcos Alonso scored the decisive goal as Chelsea held off an Arsenal comeback to win 3-2 in a thriller at Stamford Bridge.

Pedro gave Chelsea the lead after just nine minutes, converting Alonso’s cross.

Bournemouth fell behind one to West Ham came storming back to scored two second half goals for the 2-1 win at the Hammers house.  Callum Wilson 60th minute and Steve Cook 66th minute broke the hearts of the West Man faithful.

EPL Match Report:” Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva scored in each half as Manchester City handed new Arsenal head coach Unai Emery a 2-0 defeat on his Premier League debut.

Liverpool blew away West Brom 4-0.  This is the start to the season the Reds were expecting.

EPL Match Report:” Sadio Mane scored twice as Liverpool started the 2018/19 Premier League with a 4-0 win over West Ham United, their 500th victory in the competition.

Man U opens the season a nervy 2-1 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford.

EPL Match Report:” Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw scored as Manchester United kicked off the 2018/19 Premier League season with a 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

In his first appearance since winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France, Pogba captained Man Utd and took three minutes to score the first PL goal of the campaign, slotting in from the penalty spot after a handball from Daniel Amartey.

David De Gea produced superb saves from James Maddison and Demarai Gray to deny Leicester an equaliser.

Shaw made it 2-0, flicking the ball past Ricardo Pereira and producing a fine finish beyond Kasper Schmeichel with seven minutes remaining.

Jamie Vardy scored from close range in stoppage-time to set up an exciting finish, but Jose Mourinho’s side held on for the victory.

Man U minus some key players shutout Watford 1-0.

EPL Match Report:” Marcus Rashford scored the only goal as Manchester United ended the season with victory over Watford at Old Trafford.

There was a guard of honour at the start of the match for Michael Carrick, on his final Premier League appearance, and the 36-year-old orchestrated his side’s goal.

Carrick picked out Juan Mata with a 40-yard pass and the Spaniard squared the ball for Rashford to score his seventh PL goal of the season, rolling into an empty net on 34 minutes.

Watford’s Gerard Deulofeu came close on the stroke of half-time and Richarlison’s header was well saved by Sergio Romero, starting in place of Golden Glove winner David De Gea.
